Notes

  • Ingredients:
    • 1 whole beef brisket (6-8 lbs)
    • Traeger signature rub
    • 1 cup beef broth
    • Hardwood pellets (oak or hickory)
  • Instructions:
    • Season: Generously rub the brisket with Traeger rub and let it sit for at least an hour.
    • Smoke: Set Traeger to 225°F and place the brisket on the grill. Smoke for 6-8 hours, or until the internal temperature hits 160°F.
    • Wrap: Wrap in butcher paper, increase temp to 275°F, and cook until the internal temperature reaches 200°F.
  • Tips:
    • Rest Before Slicing: Let brisket rest for 30 minutes before slicing for the juiciest results.
