Wash and slice your chosen fruits. For berries, leave them whole, and for citrus, slice them into thin rounds.
Lightly crush the herbs to release their oils and enhance the infusion process.
Step 2: Combine Ingredients
In a large, airtight jar, combine the neutral spirit, fruits, herbs, and spices.
Step 3: Add Sweetener
In a small saucepan, heat water and sugar (or honey) over low heat, stirring until dissolved. Let the mixture cool, then pour it into the jar with the other ingredients.
Step 4: Infuse
Seal the jar tightly and store it in a cool, dark place for 1–2 weeks. Shake the jar gently every few days to ensure even infusion.
Step 5: Strain and Bottle
After the infusion period, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove solids. Transfer the infused liquor into a clean bottle, and it’s ready to use!
