Notes

Step 1: Cook the Pasta

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add your chosen pasta and cook until al dente, following the package instructions.
  • Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining. This starchy water will help bind the sauce to the pasta.

Step 2: Prepare the Sauce

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant. Be careful not to let it brown.
  • Reduce the heat to low and add the Boursin cheese and heavy cream. Stir gently until the cheese has melted and the mixture becomes a smooth, creamy sauce.

Step 3: Combine Pasta and Sauce

  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat each piece evenly with the sauce.
  • If the sauce is too thick, gradually add the reserved pasta water until it reaches your desired consistency.

Step 4: Finish and Serve

  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately and enjoy the rich, creamy goodness.
