Ingredients:
  • Cream Cheese: 1 cup, softened
  • Sugar: 1/4 cup
  • Vanilla Extract: 1 tsp
  • Flour Tortillas: 4 large
  • Oil for Frying
  • Cinnamon-Sugar Mixture: 1/4 cup sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon
Instructions:
  1. Prepare the Filling: In a bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  2. Assemble the Xangos: Lay out each tortilla and add a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the center. Roll the tortilla tightly around the filling, securing the edges.
  3. Fry: Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Carefully place each rolled tortilla into the hot oil, frying until golden brown and crispy on all sides. Remove and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  4. Coat and Serve: While still warm, roll each Xango in the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Serve immediately and enjoy the warm, creamy center.
