Ingredients:

  • 1 lb shaved steak
  • 2 hoagie rolls
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add bell peppers and onions, cooking until softened.
  2. Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet. Add shaved steak to the other side and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned.
  3. Mix the steak and vegetables together and divide into two portions.
  4. Place a portion of steak and veggies into each hoagie roll. Top with provolone cheese and heat until melted.
Pro Tip: For a crispy touch, toast your hoagie roll with a little butter before assembling the sandwich.
